The RESONEX Carbon Cello Endpin – for direct response and a clear playing feel
This carbon fiber cello endpin is designed for cellists who are looking for a direct response, clear articulation, and a neutral, open sound transmission.
Thanks to the very thin wall thickness and the unidirectional fiber orientation of the carbon tube, unwanted damping is reduced, allowing the instrument to respond more freely and precisely.
I am a cellist myself and developed this endpin because I was dissatisfied with the sluggish feel of many standard endpins. The goal was a solution that is lightweight, structurally stable, and acoustically unobtrusive, so the cello can speak naturally without resistance.
Available materials
Each cello endpin is individually handcrafted and made to order.
You can choose from four carefully selected materials, each offering its own acoustic character and playing feel.
-> Carbon fiber – for direct response and maximum clarity
-> Aluminum – for balanced response and tonal stability
-> Brass – for warmth, grounding, and tonal control
-> Titanium – for precision, power, and refined overtone richness
If you are interested in comparing materials, you can find the other versions in my shop.
What you can notice while playing
-> faster response
-> very clear feedback
-> reduced inertia due to low weight
-> neutral, open sound behavior
The difference becomes especially noticeable in fine dynamics, chamber music, and solo playing, where articulation and control are critical.

How to choose the right endpin
If you are unsure which material suits your cello best, here is a simple guideline:

-> Choose Aluminium if you are looking for balance, stability, and an all-round solution
-> Choose Brass if your instrument benefits from additional warmth and grounding
-> Choose Titanium if you want maximum precision, projection, and a highly refined, focused sound spectrum

Handmade & risk-free
- handmade in small batches

You may also be interested in the same endpin made from Aluminum, Titanium or Brass, depending on your tonal preferences.
Note on use:
I recommend using an endpin holder that clamps around the circumference of the endpin.
Endpin holders with a clamping screw are functional, but it cannot be ruled out that they may reduce the service life of the carbon tube.
