The RESONEX Brass Cello Endpin – for warmth, grounding, and tonal control
This brass cello endpin is designed for cellists who are looking for a warmer tone, increased grounding, and a more compact, controlled sound.
Brass as solid material adds mass and stability, helping to smooth sharp edges and give the tone more body and cohesion.
I developed this endpin for instruments or setups that tend to sound too bright, hard, or nervous. The added mass of solid brass supports the fundamental and creates a more centered tonal response.
Available materials
Each cello endpin is individually handcrafted and made to order.
You can choose from four carefully selected materials, each offering its own acoustic character and playing feel.
-> Carbon – for direct response and maximum clarity
-> Aluminum – for balanced response and tonal stability
-> Brass – for warmth, grounding, and tonal control
-> Titanium – for precision, power, and refined overtone richness
If you are interested in comparing materials, you can find the other versions in my shop.
What you can notice while playing
-> rounder, warmer sound
-> increased tonal stability
-> reduced harshness in strong dynamics
-> a more grounded playing feel
The difference becomes especially noticeable in chamber music, smaller halls, and instruments with a naturally bright character.
