The RESONEX Brass Tube Cello Endpin – for warmth, openness, and responsive tonal balance

This brass tube cello endpin is designed for cellists who appreciate the warmth and tonal richness of brass, but prefer a more open, lively, and responsive playing feel compared to solid brass.

Unlike a solid brass endpin, the tube construction reduces overall mass while preserving the characteristic warmth and grounding of the material. The result is a sound that remains warm and centered, yet reacts faster and feels more flexible under the instrument.

I developed this version for players who want the tonal character of brass without making the instrument feel overly dense or restrained. The tube construction allows the cello to breathe more freely while still smoothing excessive brightness and adding tonal depth.

Available materials

Each cello endpin is individually handcrafted and made to order.
You can choose from four carefully selected materials, each offering its own acoustic character and playing feel.

-> Carbon – for direct response and maximum clarity
-> Aluminum – for balanced response and tonal stability
-> Brass – for warmth, grounding, and tonal control
-> Titanium – for precision, power, and refined overtone richness

If you are interested in comparing materials, you can find the other versions in my shop.

What you can notice while playing

-> warmer, more resonant sound
-> quicker response compared to solid brass
-> more openness and tonal flexibility
-> stable but less heavy playing feel
-> smoother high frequencies without losing projection

The difference becomes especially noticeable on brighter instruments, in chamber music settings, and for players who want warmth without sacrificing responsiveness.
